Our email and SMS marketing strategy for Kulkea focuses on building stronger connections with key stakeholders to increase brand awareness and drive online sales. By creating targeted campaigns and fostering a more interactive subscriber experience, we’ve elevated Kulkea’s communication and engagement with customers.

Objectives
Our primary goal was to enhance Kulkea’s communication channels to boost brand awareness, foster engagement, and convert subscribers into loyal customers. Through strategic messaging and interactive campaigns, we ensured that each interaction strengthened the brand’s connection with its audience.

Challenges and Solutions
A common challenge in message marketing is the cost of maintaining large, inactive lists that yield little engagement. We addressed this by focusing on segmentation and prioritizing engagement. Our solution was to build an exclusive VIP community with weekly giveaways. Subscribers opt into this VIP list, giving us the opportunity to capture additional contact details, including SMS opt-ins. Each week, VIP members receive a new task to complete for giveaway entry, such as responding to an email or sharing content. This approach has helped transform broad subscribers into actively engaged VIP members, while we gradually phase out inactive profiles.

Campaign Strategy
Our campaign approach included four key strategies:

Brand Introduction: We used paid ads to promote the VIP weekly giveaway program, driving new subscribers into an automated welcome flow that introduces them to Kulkea’s values and products. The program creates early brand interest and educates potential customers.

Conversion to Customers: As we gather insights on new subscribers, we tailor sales messages based on their behavior, such as web browsing activity, to highlight relevant products and increase conversion rates.

Abandoned Cart Recovery: We crafted reminders and compelling offers for abandoned carts, capturing potential sales from users already interested in specific products.

Encouraging Repeat Purchases: For existing customers, we focused on delivering value-driven messages that keep Kulkea top of mind, like the weekly giveaway program, which has proven to enhance loyalty and repurchase rates.
